Rogério Samora
José Rogério dos Anjos Filipe da Conceição Samora, known as Rogério Samora, was a prominent Portuguese actor born on 28 October 1958. With a prolific career spanning over four decades, he made his mark in film, television, and stage, appearing in more than one hundred productions since 1980.
Samora was known for his captivating performances and his ability to bring characters to life. His dedication to the craft earned him a significant place in the Portuguese entertainment industry. However, his life took a tragic turn on 20 July 2021, during the filming of SIC's soap opera "Amor Amor," when he suffered two cardiorespiratory arrests. Following the incident, he was hospitalized and placed in a coma.
Despite the hopes for his recovery, Rogério Samora passed away on 15 December 2021, at the age of 63. His untimely death left a profound impact on fans and colleagues alike, marking the end of a remarkable career that celebrated the art of storytelling through performance.
