Liya Akhedzhakova
Liya M. Akhedzhakova, born on July 9, 1938, in Dnepropetrovsk in the Ukrainian SSR, is a distinguished Russian actress known for her remarkable contributions to both theater and film. A celebrated figure in the performing arts, she was honored as the Honored Artist of the RSFSR in 1970 and later received the title of People's Artist of Russia in 1994.
Her career gained notable recognition through her collaborations with renowned director Eldar Ryazanov, where she delivered memorable performances in iconic films such as "The Irony of Fate" (1975), "Office Romance" (1977), "Garage" (1979), and "Promised Heaven" (1991).
