Lucy Gaskell

Lucy Gaskell, born on July 10, 1980, is a talented British actress recognized for her diverse roles in both television and theatre. She began her artistic journey at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, graduating in 1998.

Gaskell made her professional stage debut in 2003 with the Oxford Stage Company's production of Anton Chekhov's classic play, "The Cherry Orchard," which toured the UK during the summer months. Her breakthrough came soon after when she was nominated for the Royal Television Society's Best Newcomer Award in 2003 for her performance in the BBC One drama series "Cutting It," where she portrayed the character Ruby Ferris.

Her television career includes notable appearances in popular series such as "Casualty," where she played nurse Kirsty Clements from 2010 to 2011, and "Waking the Dead." Gaskell also featured in the long-running medical drama "Holby City" and the heartwarming series "Where the Heart Is." One of her memorable roles was Kathy Costello Nightingale in the acclaimed "Doctor Who" episode "Blink" (2007), further showcasing her versatility as an actress.
