Mugga, hailing from Brooklyn, has made a name for herself by infusing humor into her dramatic performances. Her acting journey began early, with training under esteemed mentors like Tracey Moore, Joanna Beckson, and Paul Calderon.

Her foray into stand-up comedy was sparked by a dare, which led her to catch the attention of Bob Sumner, a scout for Def Comedy Jam. This pivotal moment opened the door to numerous high-profile gigs, including appearances on DEF COMEDY JAM, SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO, BET'S COMIC VIEW (three times), and BBC'S CLUB CLASS.

Receiving accolades from critics, including the New York Times, Mugga toured with DEF JAM and collaborated with the UK-based comedy troupe SWG, as well as SISTAHS WITH GAGS. This success in stand-up propelled her back into acting, culminating in a memorable role in Lee Daniels' Oscar-winning film Precious, where she portrayed the restaurant worker from whom Precious stole chicken.

Mugga's talent flourished further in the groundbreaking Netflix series Orange Is The New Black, where she earned a SAG Award for her role as Reema Pell. She also gained recognition for her recurring character, Bethany Collins, on NBC's hit show Manifest.

Her impressive resume includes significant roles in acclaimed series like Bull, Power, Homeland, and Blue Bloods, as well as a part in Blumhouse's dystopian action film, The First Purge. As she juggles her dual passions for acting and comedy, Mugga remains driven by her belief that "The Best Is Yet To Come."
