Colleen Smith, originally hailing from South Korea, grew up on the picturesque island of Oahu. With a passion for performance, she honed her skills at renowned institutions such as The Groundlings and Second City, establishing a solid foundation in improvisation and sketch comedy. Colleen shares her expertise by teaching at The Groundlings, inspiring the next generation of comedic talent in Hollywood, where she currently resides.

Her artistic journey took a remarkable turn when she was trained in puppetry by the esteemed Jim Henson Company, a pivotal experience that expanded her creative repertoire. Colleen has become a key performer with Henson Alternative's Puppet Up!, a unique show that blends adult humor with puppetry. Her work with Puppet Up! has taken her across major cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, as well as the illustrious Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she captivated audiences with her innovative performances.
