Kevin Brian Bishop is a well-known English actor and comedian, recognized primarily for his work on The Kevin Bishop Show, which he co-created with Lee Hupfield.

Bishop's acting career began with a role in the children's series Grange Hill. At just 16 years old, he landed his second part as Ben Quayle in the popular crime drama Silent Witness. He also appeared as Stupid Brian in three episodes of the sitcom My Family and played Jim Hawkins in Muppet Treasure Island.

In 2005, he took on the role of the late comedian Dudley Moore in the stage production Pete and Dud: Come Again, which explored Moore's complex relationship with Peter Cook. The show debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before moving to London's West End in March 2006. In August 2007, Bishop starred in the Channel 4 satirical documentary "Being Tom Cruise," a spinoff of Star Stories. He showcased his versatility in September 2014 with a one-man show, Fully Committed, at the Menier Chocolate Factory, portraying forty different characters.

In 2013, he featured in the American comedy series Super Fun Night, which was created by and starred Australian actress Rebel Wilson, although it only lasted a single season.

Bishop made headlines in August 2016 when he starred in a revival of the 1970s BBC sitcom Porridge, portraying Fletch, the grandson of the original character played by Ronnie Barker. This revival, initially a one-off, was later commissioned for a full series that premiered in October 2017 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Additionally, in 2016, Bishop portrayed Nigel Farage in a special BBC Two comedy series titled Nigel Farage Gets His Life Back. By 2017, he became the speaking voice of 2-D, the fictional frontman of the British virtual band Gorillaz.
