Santiago Korovsky

Santiago Korovsky, born on February 26, 1985, in Buenos Aires, is a multifaceted Argentine artist known for his work as an actor, director, screenwriter, and educator. He pursued his studies in Communication and Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), honing his craft in the arts.

In 2012, Korovsky gained significant recognition with his documentary "Salir a escena," which chronicles the inspiring journey of two women in a Neuropsychiatric Hospital who strive to reclaim their lives. This powerful film garnered multiple accolades, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Script at the Fusagasugá International Festival in Colombia. Additionally, it received the Best Documentary Award at the Potlatch University Documentary Festival in Mexico, the First Prize at the XIV Documentary Film and Video Festival of Rosario in Argentina, and was honored with multiple awards at the Voces Contra el Silencio Festival and the Latin American Festival of Rosario.

In 2023, Korovsky expanded his repertoire by directing, writing, and starring in the Netflix series "División Palermo," further establishing his presence in the industry. His dedication to storytelling and his ability to tackle profound themes have made him a prominent figure in contemporary Argentine cinema.
