Natalie Gavin
Natalie Gavin, born on July 27, 1988, is a talented English actress recognized for her compelling performances in various television dramas. She gained prominence through her roles in the BBC series *Prisoners' Wives* (2012) and *The Syndicate* (2013), as well as in the ITV drama *Jericho* (2016).
Raised in Bradford, Gavin spent her early years in the neighborhoods of West Bowling and Buttershaw, later relocating to Denholme during her teenage years. She comes from a close-knit family, including her mother Susan, father John, and brother Shaun. Interestingly, her father had a connection to playwright Andrea Dunbar, whose family lived on the same street—Brafferton Arbor—in Buttershaw. This connection proved significant as Gavin portrayed Dunbar in the 2010 film *The Arbor*, filmed in the very neighborhood where they both grew up.
Gavin received her education at Buttershaw High School before pursuing a degree in drama from the University of Huddersfield. Her acting career took off when she was cast in *Shameless* during her second year of university, prompting her to pause her studies. With a remarkable ability to capture the essence of her characters, Gavin continues to make her mark in the world of acting.
