Brock Lesnar
Brock Edward Lesnar is a multifaceted American athlete known for his accomplishments in professional wrestling, mixed martial arts, amateur wrestling, and professional football. Currently, he is under contract with WWE, where he holds the title of WWE Champion for the seventh time. Recognized as one of the all-time greats in professional wrestling, Lesnar is unique in having captured major heavyweight titles in WWE, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
Lesnar's amateur wrestling career at the University of Minnesota culminated in a national championship victory in 2000. In 2002, he made a significant impact in the wrestling world by winning the WWE Championship at the young age of 25, becoming the youngest wrestler to achieve this feat. After a brief stint in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, where he was released during pre-season, Lesnar won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in NJPW in 2005. He returned to WWE in 2012, where he enjoyed a notable 504-day reign as Universal Champion, ranked as the seventh-longest in history. His accolades include multiple victories at the Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank matches, and being the headliner for WrestleMania on four occasions, most famously ending The Undertaker's undefeated streak.
Lesnar also ventured into mixed martial arts in 2007, signing with the UFC the following year, where he quickly captured the Heavyweight Championship. Despite health challenges and a series of setbacks, he made a short-lived return to MMA in 2016 before retiring again in 2017. His bouts have contributed to some of the highest-grossing pay-per-view events in UFC history.
