He comes from a family with artistic roots, as his sister, Verónica Llinás, is a prominent actress in Argentina. Llinás pursued his education at the Universidad del Cine, where he not only honed his craft but also returned to share his knowledge as an educator.

Llinás gained international acclaim for his ambitious project, *La Flor*, which was released in three parts between 2018 and 2019.
