Richard Ridings

Richard John Ridings, born on September 19, 1958, is a prominent English actor known for his diverse roles across television. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Alan Ashburn in the ITV drama *Fat Friends*, and he played Bernard Green in the BBC One comedy-drama *Common as Muck*. Additionally, he brought to life the character of Mr. Bumble in the BBC series *Dickensian* and is well-known for voicing Daddy Pig in the beloved children’s show *Peppa Pig*. Ridings honed his acting skills at Bretton Hall College followed by further training at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is also the proud father of Freya Ridings, a talented singer-songwriter.
