Mike Dopud
Mike Dopud is a versatile Canadian actor, voice artist, stunt performer, and athlete, known for his dynamic roles across film and television. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Detective Smits in the 2005 action-horror film *White Noise* and Agent Turner in *Alone in the Dark*, both released in the same year. Additionally, he showcased his talent as Vic Hadfield in the Canadian miniseries *Canada Russia '72* and took on the character Michael 'The Assassin' in the 2002 remake of *Rollerball*. His work on the *Stargate* franchise is notable, with appearances in *Stargate SG-1* and *Stargate Atlantis*, where he also performed numerous stunts. His role as Varro in *Stargate Universe* marked a significant step in his career. In 2005, he received a Taurus World Stunt Award nomination for his contributions to the film *Walking Tall*.
Born and raised in Montreal, Dopud is trilingual, fluent in English, French, and Serbian. He also had a brief stint as a professional Canadian football player with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. On a personal note, he is married to fellow Canadian actress Angela Schneider, further intertwining their lives in the entertainment industry.
