Anca Dumitra
Anca Dumitra, originally from Craiova, has been residing in Bucharest since 2006, the year she enrolled in the acting faculty. While her rise to fame became more apparent with her performance in the series "Hot Hot," her journey in the arts began much earlier. Anca dedicated four years to ballet, explored the modeling scene, and kicked off her acting career in high school. She continued to hone her craft in college, participating in student short films and notable productions like "Icar's Childhood."
Anca describes her portrayal of Gianina as a significant challenge, as it requires her to embody a young woman who is "completely naive and gullible." Despite the complexities of the character, she finds the production itself to be a delightful experience for all involved. Anca Dumitra's dedication to her craft and her diverse artistic background have established her as a prominent figure in Romanian theatre and television, earning her recognition and admiration in the industry. Her commitment to exploring varied roles continues to inspire both audiences and aspiring actors alike.
