Toru Yamashita

Toru Yamashita, widely recognized simply as Toru, was born on December 7, 1988, in Osaka, Japan. He is best known as the lead guitarist and driving force behind the acclaimed Japanese rock band One Ok Rock.

Before his rise to fame in the music industry, Toru was part of a hip-hop dance collective called Heads, where he collaborated with fellow band member Ryota Kohama. The group disbanded in 2002, paving the way for Toru's transition into rock music.

Since forming One Ok Rock, Toru has played a pivotal role in shaping the band's sound and success.
