**Biography of Jurij Zrnec**

Jurij Zrnec began his artistic journey as a child, training in both Latin American and standard dances, where he achieved notable success by securing third place at the World Dance Championship. After completing his studies at a secondary school focused on design, he enrolled at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana. Initially, he did not pass the entrance exams, but he persevered and succeeded the following year, ultimately graduating from the academy.

Zrnec gained prominence in the entertainment industry as the host of the Viktor Awards in 2003 and 2006. He is also well-known for his role as Doctor Muca in the popular television series "Naša mala klinika." In addition to acting, he lent his voice to iconic animated characters, including Garfield and its sequel, "Garfield 2."

In the autumn of 2007, Zrnec, alongside Lad Bizovičar, began hosting the entertainment show "As ti tud not padu?!" on POP TV, which aired until December 2009 and earned him four Viktor awards. As a director, he was involved in creating the theatrical production "5moških.com."

On November 4, 2010, Zrnec starred in the youth feature film "Gremo mi po svoje," where his performance as the elder garnered him the Vesna Award for Best Leading Male Role at the 13th Festival of Slovenian Film that same year. He is married to Sabina Kogovšek, and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Leni, on July 28, 2008.
