Mara Maryl

Mara Maryl, originally named Chianetta Mara, began her artistic journey at the prestigious Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma, where she completed her studies in 1957. She initially made her mark in the film industry by performing in various comedies under the pseudonym Mara Ombra.

In 1960, she entered into a partnership both personally and professionally by marrying the screenwriter Ernesto Gastaldi. This union led her to adopt the stage name Mara Maryl for her acting endeavors, while she used the name Maria Chianetta for her contributions as a writer.
