Sara Jean Underwood, a vibrant and charming blonde, began her journey in junior high as a volleyball player. Her career took an unconventional turn when she started working in sales for heavy construction equipment, followed by her role as a waitress at Hooters. Pursuing higher education, she attended Oregon State University, majoring in Business Marketing.

Underwood's modeling career gained momentum when she debuted in Playboy's October 2005 issue as part of the Girls of the Pac-10 feature. She graced the cover, showcasing her creativity with body paint to represent an Oregon State Beavers football jersey. Her rise continued as she was named Playmate of the Month in July 2006 and subsequently crowned Playmate of the Year in June 2007, receiving a Mini Cooper convertible as part of her accolades.
