Joyce Evidi

Joyce Evidi, born on October 22, 1961, in Montreal, Canada, is a prominent Greek actress known for her dynamic performances across television. Raised in a family of Greek immigrants, she later moved to Greece, where she pursued her passion for acting at the National Theater School of Drama in Athens.

Evidi's television career took off in 1985 with appearances in various series on ERT. Her breakthrough came in 1987 when she starred in the children's show "Tou koutiou ta mithyia," alongside respected actors like Efi Papatheodorou and Tasos Kostis. That same year, she made a guest appearance in the short-lived series on the Vangelitsa channel.

With the advent of private television in Greece, she gained further recognition in 1989 with a role in "The Arbitrary." The following year, she joined the cast of "The Three Graces," a popular series that solidified her reputation. From 1990 to 1992, Joyce played a leading role in the hit MEGA comedy "The Penthouse," which attained significant success.

Evidi continued to make her mark with roles in "Indivisible" (1992-1993) and the beloved series "Oi men e oi den" (1993-1996), which is often hailed as one of the finest in private television history. She also starred in "The Cafe of Joy" from 2003 to 2006 and returned to the series for its fourth cycle in 2020. More recently, she appeared in "Brusko" from 2013 to 2017, demonstrating her enduring appeal in the Greek entertainment industry.
