Will Forte

Orville Willis Forte IV, widely known as Will Forte, was born on June 17, 1970, and has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry as an actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He gained prominence as a cast member and writer for NBC's iconic sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live, where he showcased his comedic talents for eight seasons from 2002 to 2010. One of his standout creations during this time was the character MacGruber, which not only featured in a film adaptation in 2010 but also inspired a limited series on streaming platforms in 2021.

Forte is also recognized for his innovative sitcom, The Last Man on Earth, which aired from 2015 to 2018. His work on the series garnered him three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards, including two for acting and one for writing, highlighting his versatile talent in both performance and storytelling.

Originally pursuing a history degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, Forte briefly followed in his father's footsteps as a financial broker. However, his passion for comedy led him to join The Groundlings improv group, where he honed his craft. Before his tenure on SNL, he contributed as a writer and producer for popular shows like 3rd Rock from the Sun and That '70s Show. In addition to his live-action roles, Forte has lent his voice to various animated projects, including the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs series, The Lego Movie franchise, and the upcoming Sausage Party: Foodtopia.
