Matthew Albrecht

Matthew Albrecht, originally from Houston, Texas, spent his formative years in Fredericksburg, where he cultivated his passion for both theater and athletics during his middle and high school years. His dual talents earned him the nickname "thespian jock." Pursuing his love for the performing arts, Matthew enrolled at Texas State University, majoring in acting for theater. He became a prominent figure in the university’s theater productions while also immersing himself in campus life, earning the playful moniker "Frat Matt" among his peers.

In 2006, Matthew relocated to Los Angeles to further his acting career. Alongside his pursuit of acting, he gained experience working with several independent production companies, where he discovered his aptitude for producing. This led to the establishment of his own production company in 2008, in collaboration with fellow producers Christian Sosa and Tyler Glodt. Since then, Matthew has showcased his talent in various independent films, shorts, and commercials.

As a co-founder of Conation Films, Matthew has committed to creating content primarily in Texas, his home state. The company has produced notable works, including the feature film "The Eves," along with numerous short films, reinforcing Matthew's dedication to both his craft and his roots. His journey reflects a blend of artistic ambition and entrepreneurial spirit, making him a distinguished figure in the independent film industry.
