She completed her education with honors from the Vancouver Film School in 2005, where she specialized in Film Production. Following her graduation, Kaelen embarked on a global journey, honing her skills as a director, cinematographer, and editor. Throughout her travels, she created an array of music videos, fashion films, and impactful short documentaries for various musical acts, brands, and socially-conscious organizations.

In 2018, she enhanced her craft further by attending the prestigious Actor's Conservatory at the Canadian Film Centre, where she refined her acting abilities among a select group of talented individuals. Currently, Kaelen resides in Toronto, where she continues to make significant contributions to the film and music industries.
