Liam Graham
Liam Ansell Graham, hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, was born to Lisa Ansell, a nurse, and Colin Graham, a television audio director. He grew up with two younger siblings, Madeleine White and Ruairidh Graham, and carries a rich heritage that includes Irish, Italian, British, Scandinavian, and Western European roots.
Liam completed his education at Perth Modern School, graduating in 2005. His passion for theater ignited at the tender age of seven when he attended the Actor's Workshop, led by RADA graduate Alan Blackwood and award-winning actress Nichola Renton. By the age of twelve, he made his acting debut in a short film directed by Matt Richards, which solidified his love for the cinematic arts.
In 2007, Liam joined the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company (WAYTCo.), where he participated in a variety of productions, including 'Mad Forest', 'Macbeth', and 'The Life of Galileo'. His performance as Phil in Dennis Kelly’s 'DNA' garnered critical acclaim, with reviewers describing his portrayal as "hypnotic and mesmerizing."
Transitioning to Sydney, Liam enrolled in a Masterclass at The Hub Studio under esteemed NIDA lecturer Kevin Jackson. His film career took off with a co-lead role in the horror/thriller 'Sororal' (2014) and later as Max Woods in the psychological thriller 'The Burning Kiss' (2017).
Liam's filmography also includes notable works such as 'Bad Girl' (2017), 'Otherlife' (2017), and 'Hounds of Love' (2017). In 2015, he received a nomination for BEST ACTOR at the Western Australian Screen Awards for his role in the acclaimed web series 'Greenfield'. His latest accolade came in 2017 when he won BEST ACTOR at the 'Next Gen Short Film Festival' for his compelling performance in the short film 'Council'.
