Olga Helena Frances Lindo was born in London during the twilight of the Victorian era, the daughter of Frank and Marion Lindo (née Wakeford). She grew up alongside her brother, Reginald David Marion Lindo (1900-1972). With her father being a prominent actor-manager and author, it was almost predestined that Olga would follow in his footsteps. She made her theatrical debut at the tender age of fourteen, performing in "The Sleeping Beauty Re-Awakened" at the iconic Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in Covent Garden, London.

Olga quickly became a vital member of her father's touring company, showcasing her versatility across numerous roles. By 1925, her performance as Sadie Thompson in W. Somerset Maugham's "Rain" at the Garrick Theatre earned her high praise from The Times, which dubbed her a formidable talent. Her remarkable range and dedication to her craft enabled her to captivate audiences on the London stage for more than fifty years.

While her true passion lay in the theater, Olga also enjoyed a successful career in film.

Olga Lindo passed away in London in 1968 at the age of 69, leaving behind a rich legacy in the world of performing arts.
