From January 2019 to April 2021, she held the prestigious position of President of CBS News, making history as the first woman to occupy this role, and she was succeeded by Neeraj Khemlani and Wendy McMahon. Prior to her presidency, Zirinsky dedicated over two decades to CBS’s investigative series, serving as the executive producer of "48 Hours" from 1996 until 2019.
