Sam Buffington (October 12, 1931 – May 15, 1960) was a talented American actor whose career, though brief, spanned stage, radio, film, and television. Upon her return, she discovered a heartbreaking note in which he expressed his inability to support her and requested cremation. His friends were left in shock by his decision, especially considering that he had earned over $20,000 the previous year and appeared to have promising opportunities ahead.
