Vinícius de Oliveira
Vinícius de Oliveira, born on July 18, 1985, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a talented actor whose journey from humble beginnings to stardom is truly inspiring. Growing up in Bonsucesso, he was raised by a hardworking mother who struggled to provide for him and his three siblings. To help support his family, Vinícius took on various jobs, including working as a shoe shiner, all while nurturing a dream of becoming a professional football player.
Fate took a dramatic turn when he was discovered by acclaimed director Walter Salles while working. This pivotal moment led to his breakout role as Josué in the highly praised film "Central do Brasil." With Salles’ encouragement, Vinícius was able to pursue his passion further, taking lessons in English and theater to hone his craft.
Currently, he is studying at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO), aspiring to become a film director.
