Andrea Anders
Andrea Anders, born in 1975 in Madison, Wisconsin, was raised in DeForest, Wisconsin. She completed her high school education at DeForest Area High School in 1993 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Furthering her studies, she obtained a Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University. Anders embarked on her professional journey in theater in 2001, showcasing her talents in productions such as "Proof," "The Graduate," "On the Jump," "New Doors," "Cold/Tender," and "New World Rhapsody."
Her on-screen career commenced in 1998 with an appearance in the soap opera "One Life to Live." However, she gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Alex Garrett, a lawyer in the television series "Joey," a spinoff of the iconic "Friends," featuring Matt LeBlanc. Anders also had notable roles in "Oz" as Donna Degenhart, in "The Class" as Nicole Allen, and in the ABC comedy "Better Off Ted" as Linda Zwordling. Additionally, she starred as Alice in the sitcom "Mr. Sunshine," created by and starring Matthew Perry.
Her television credits extend to appearances in "Law & Order," "The Guiding Light," "Tru Calling," and "Numb3rs," as well as telefilms like "Spellbound" and "The Big D."
