Andy Rukes
Andy Rukes, originally named Andrew Rukavina, hails from Guelph, Ontario. He pursued his academic journey at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. It was at the tender age of eleven that Andy discovered his passion for acting, taking on the lead role in his fifth-grade production of "Robin Hood." This early experience ignited a lifelong love for the stage, leading him to participate in numerous theatrical performances across Ontario. Among his standout roles, he has delighted audiences in Lee Blessing's "A Walk In The Woods," Molière's classic "Tartuffe," and Sherman Snukal's "Talking Dirty."
In addition to acting, Andy showcased his creative flair by co-producing murder mystery dinner theatre shows with the now-closed "Dead Funny Murder Mysteries." In the fall of 1999, seeking new opportunities, he relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia. Since then, Andy has built an impressive portfolio, accumulating over fifty credits in film and television. His diverse body of work reflects his dedication to the craft and his versatility as a performer. With each project, Andy continues to captivate audiences and make his mark in the entertainment industry.
