Sarah Michelle Gellar
Sarah Michelle Prinze (née Gellar), born on April 14, 1977, is a multifaceted American actress, producer, and entrepreneur. At just four years old, she was discovered in New York City, leading to her screen debut in the TV film An Invasion of Privacy (1983). Gellar gained prominence with a pivotal role in the teen drama Swans Crossing (1992) and achieved significant acclaim as Kendall Hart on the ABC soap opera All My Children from 1993 to 1995, earning a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series.
Her career skyrocketed with her iconic role as Buffy Summers in the cult favorite series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which aired from 1997 to 2003. This performance not only garnered her widespread recognition but also resulted in multiple accolades, including five Teen Choice Awards and a Saturn Award, along with a Golden Globe nomination.
In film, Gellar's notable box office hits include I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), Scream 2 (1997), Cruel Intentions (1999), and the Scooby-Doo franchise.
