Geoffrey Burridge

Geoffrey Cecil Burridge (4 December 1948 – 30 September 1987) was a distinguished English actor celebrated for his impactful roles in both theatre and television.

Burridge gained recognition on the small screen with his portrayal of Mark Proctor in the early episodes of the long-running series Emmerdale Farm. His versatility as an actor was further showcased in his guest role as Dorian in the iconic sci-fi series Blake's 7, specifically in the episode titled "Rescue."

In cinema, he made a notable appearance in John Landis's 1981 cult classic An American Werewolf in London, where he played the role of the undead man alongside his fiancée during a memorable scene set in a sex cinema. Additionally, Burridge starred as Clovis in the 1978 BBC television drama The Ice House, a performance that solidified his presence in dramatic storytelling. That same year, he had a guest role in the series 1990, portraying American chess champion Cyrus Asher in the episode "You'll Never Walk Alone."
