Lucia Bosè
Lucia Bosè was born in Milan, Italy, to parents Francesca Bosè and Domenico Borloni. Before stepping into the limelight, she spent several years working in a bakery. In 1947, she achieved recognition by securing the title in the second edition of the Miss Italia beauty pageant. Her transition to acting began with a role in Dino Risi's short film, "The Five Days of Milan." In 1950, she made her cinematic debut in Giuseppe De Santis' "Non c'è pace tra gli ulivi" (No Peace Under the Olive Tree). Her acting career thrived until 1955, when she fell for Spanish bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín, prompting her to retire from acting to marry and focus on family life. The couple remained together until 1968, but their relationship faced challenges over the years, particularly due to her disinterest in the world of bullfighting. In 1960, she made a brief uncredited appearance in Jean Cocteau's film "Le Testament d'Orphée." Following her divorce from Dominguín, Bosè made a comeback to the film industry, resuming her acting career with renewed vigor.
