Donny Alamsyah Benjamin, born on December 7, 1978, is a prominent Indonesian actor and martial artist whose career has made a significant impact in the film industry. His journey into acting commenced in 2004 when he accompanied a friend to an audition for the film *Gie* (2005). Impressed by his potential, the production team invited him to audition, leading to his casting in the role of Jaka.

Alamsyah's performance in the 2008 film *Fiksi* as the character Barry garnered him widespread acclaim and a nomination for Best Actor at the prestigious Indonesian Film Festival, solidifying his status in the cinematic landscape.

From a young age, Donny displayed a passion for martial arts, encouraged by his father, Benjamin Junaedi, who was a coach in Cimande pencak silat.
