Tim Ransom

Tim Ransom, originally named Timothy Ransom Wilson, was born on April 19, 1963, in Binghamton, New York. With a career spanning more than 35 years, he has established himself as a prominent American actor, producer, and theater artist. After completing high school, Ransom moved to New York City, where he began his artistic journey as an intern at the Ensemble Studio Theater. He played a crucial role in co-founding the Naked Angels theater company alongside notable talents such as Jon Robin Baitz and Lili Taylor, later taking on the role of Artistic Director from 2001 to 2005.

Ransom is widely recognized for his memorable performances, including his portrayal of the mutant Jack in the acclaimed series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1997-1998) and the villainous Frankie Dwyer in Nash Bridges. He also depicted Robert F. Kennedy in the miniseries A Woman Named Jackie. His filmography includes significant roles in Desperately Seeking Susan (1985), Outbreak (1995), LBJ (2016), and The Mandela Effect (2019).

In recent years, Ransom has made appearances in popular series such as Station 19 (2024), The Rookie (2022), Narcos: Mexico, and The Handmaid's Tale, and he featured in Perry Mason (2020).
