Alethea Ada McGrath (June 1, 1920 – February 9, 2016) was a distinguished Australian actress and comedian, celebrated for her diverse roles across film and television. One of her most notable performances was as Jocasta Nu in the iconic film Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. McGrath garnered considerable recognition for her work on television, particularly for portraying Dot Farrar in the acclaimed series Prisoner. Her versatility was further showcased in the long-running soap opera Neighbours, where she took on three different roles: Miss Logan in 1985, Mary Crombie from 1989 to 1990, and Lilly Madigan in 1998.

In addition to her on-screen achievements, McGrath had a significant influence behind the scenes, having taught Drama at Methodist Ladies College in Kew, Melbourne, prior to pursuing her acting career full-time.
