Christina Victoria Grimmie (March 12, 1994 – June 10, 2016) was a talented American singer and YouTube sensation whose passion for music resonated with millions. She began her journey in 2009 by uploading cover songs to YouTube, quickly captivating audiences with her powerful vocals. In 2011, she released her debut EP, *Find Me*, which propelled her channel to over one million subscribers. Following this achievement, her popularity soared, leading to the release of her first studio album, *With Love*, in 2013 when her subscriber count reached two million.

Grimmie's talent caught the attention of the music industry when she competed on season six of *The Voice*, where she finished in third place. Her coach, Adam Levine, publicly promised to sign her to 222 Records, and she received an offer from Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment. Although her time with Island Records was brief, she continued to create music, releasing her second EP, *Side A*, in 2016. That same year, she made her acting debut in the film *The Matchbreaker*.

Tragically, on June 10, 2016, Christina was shot and killed by an obsessed fan while signing autographs after a concert in Orlando, Florida. Her legacy lives on through her music, with the posthumous release of *Side B* in 2017, and her final album, *All Is Vanity*, also released that year. By 2019, her YouTube channel had grown to four million subscribers, a testament to her enduring influence and talent.
