Laila Fawzy
Laila Fawzy was born in Turkey to Egyptian parents, with her father running a chain of fabric shops across Cairo, Damascus, and Istanbul. Her journey into the spotlight began when she clinched the title of Miss Egypt in 1940, which led to her debut in the film industry with a minor role in the 1941 movie *Wives Factory*.
Following her initial success, Fawzy established herself as a prominent figure in both film and television, captivating audiences until her retirement in the early 2000s.
