Andrew Peterson
Andrew Peterson is a multi-talented artist widely recognized for his contributions to literature and music, particularly for his acclaimed fantasy series, The Wingfeather Saga, which includes titles such as The Wingfeather Saga (2022) and The Wingfeather Saga: A Crow for the Carriage (2017), as well as The Slugs & Bugs Show (2019).
Over the past two decades, Peterson has made a significant impact in the Nashville music scene, where he has built a reputation for authenticity and depth in his songwriting. Eschewing the typical commercial pressures of the industry, he has crafted a body of work that resonates with genuine emotion and maintains a heartfelt dialogue with his audience. In 2019, he commemorated the 20th anniversary of his beloved project, Behold the Lamb of God, with a special tour and a new album release.
As an esteemed author, Peterson’s The Wingfeather Saga has been likened to a blend of The Princess Bride and The Lord of the Rings, with collectible hardcover editions released by Penguin Random House in 2020. An animated adaptation of the series, produced by Angel Studios, is set to debut in 2022. His literary pursuits also include the nonfiction works The God of the Garden (2021) and his memoir, Adorning the Dark (2019), both published through B&H Publishers.
In 2008, Peterson founded The Rabbit Room, a ministry aimed at fostering a vibrant Christian arts community, which has since evolved into a dynamic platform hosting conferences, concerts, and publishing a diverse range of over thirty books. He resides in Nashville with his wife, Jamie, and their three children, Aedan, Asher, and Skye, and enjoys hobbies such as beekeeping, gardening, and stone wall construction.
