Priscilla Bonner

Priscilla Bonner (February 17, 1899 – February 21, 1996) was a prominent American actress renowned for her contributions to silent cinema. She made her first appearance on the silver screen in 1920 with the film *Homer Comes Home*. That same year, she showcased her talent alongside notable actors, including Jack Pickford in *The Man Who Had Everything*. Over the next few years, Bonner shared the screen with legendary figures such as Lon Chaney in *Shadows* (1922), Colleen Moore in *April Showers* (1923), and the comedic star Harry Langdon in *The Strong Man* (1926).

In 1925, she took a bold step by starring in the independent film *The Red Kimono*, which was produced and directed by the trailblazing Dorothy Davenport, marking a significant moment in her career due to the film's controversial themes. Two years later, in 1927, Bonner was featured in the hit film *It*, where she was loaned to Paramount Pictures to act alongside the iconic Clara Bow, further solidifying her status in the film industry.

Bonner's enduring legacy in Hollywood was punctuated by her remarkable longevity, as she lived to the age of 97, passing away in 1996. Her work remains a testament to the rich history of silent film and the talented actresses who shaped the era.
