Jajang C. Noer
Jajang C. Noer, who is also referred to as Jajang Pamuntjak, was born Lidia Djunita Pamontjak on June 28, 1952, in Paris, France. She is a prominent figure in the Indonesian film industry, known both as an actress and film producer. As the only daughter of Nazir Datuk Pamoentjak, a notable figure in Indonesia's national independence movement, she carries a legacy of cultural significance.
In her career, she achieved critical acclaim, notably winning the award for Best Supporting Actress at the Indonesian Film Festival in 1992 for her performance in "Mer's Lips," which solidified her reputation in the cinematic world.
Jajang was married to Arifin C. Noer, a respected Indonesian film director, until his passing in May 1995. Throughout her career, Jajang C. Noer has made substantial contributions to Indonesian cinema, earning recognition for her talent and dedication to the art of filmmaking.
