Marju Marynel Kuut (February 12, 1946 – April 10, 2022) was a celebrated Estonian artist known for her multifaceted contributions as a singer, songwriter, music producer, and DJ. Born in Tallinn, Kuut's extraordinary talent was recognized early in her career when she was named the best jazz singer in the Soviet Union by the esteemed jazz publication Down Beat in 1965.
