Rachel Melvin

Rachel Melvin is a talented American actress celebrated for her compelling performances on both television and film. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Chelsea Brady on the long-running soap opera *Days of Our Lives*, as well as for her role as Penny in the comedy sequel *Dumb and Dumber To*.

Melvin's career began with her debut in the 2005 independent film *Boo*. Shortly thereafter, she secured a brief role as Georgia LaMarque on *Days of Our Lives*, only to later take over the character of Chelsea Brady, previously played by Mandy Musgrave. Her engaging personality was highlighted when she made a spontaneous appearance on *The Tonight Show with Jay Leno*, where she was interviewed alongside her dog at a gas station.
