Noah Bean
Noah Bean, born in 1978 in Boston, Massachusetts, is a distinguished American actor recognized for his compelling performances in both television and film. He gained significant acclaim for his portrayal of David Connor on the FX legal thriller *Damages* and showcased his talent as Ryan Fletcher in the 2010 CW series *Nikita*. Additionally, Bean received praise for his lead role in the indie film *The Pill*, which further solidified his reputation in the industry.
Growing up in Mystic, Connecticut, Bean attended Pine Point School and later the Williams School in Connecticut. As an only child, he was initially characterized by his extreme shyness—a trait that prompted his school to reach out to his parents out of concern. It was his mother who encouraged him to explore drama in high school, a decision that transformed his life. He found a sense of confidence through acting, stating, "I found when I had a script in my hand I could speak." This newfound passion led him to Boston University's College of Fine Arts, where he honed his craft and eventually received his first theatrical opportunity from director Michael Ritchie.
Currently residing in New York, Bean has established strong friendships within the industry, including with actor Seth Gabel and director Jack Bender, as well as with his *Damages* co-star Rose Byrne.
