Maggie Roswell
Margaret Roswell, born on November 14, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, is a multifaceted American actress, voice artist, comedian, writer, and producer. She is best recognized for her extensive work on the iconic animated series, The Simpsons, where she has lent her voice to several memorable characters including Maude Flanders, Helen Lovejoy, Miss Hoover, and Luann Van Houten, among others. Her contributions to the series have garnered her nominations for both an Emmy Award and an Annie Award.
Roswell's career took off in the 1980s, with significant roles in films such as Midnight Madness (1980), Lost in America (1985), and Pretty in Pink (1986). She also made guest appearances on popular television series like Remington Steele, Masquerade, and Happy Days. A notable presence in sketch comedy, she was featured in The Tim Conway Show from 1980 to 1981 and ventured into voice acting for various animated projects.
