Josh Hayes
Joshua Kurt Hayes, known as Josh Hayes, was born on April 4, 1975, in Gulfport, Mississippi. An accomplished American motorcycle road racer, Hayes embarked on his racing journey at the young age of 19 in 1994, skillfully tuning his own F2 motorcycle while traveling from event to event. His early dedication paid off as he secured three novice championships in the WERA series, paving the way for his professional debut in 1996. Just two years later, he made his entrance into the AMA circuit.
In 1999, Hayes achieved a significant milestone by winning the 750 SuperSport race at Daytona and finished the season with a commendable third place in the Formula Extreme class. His career continued to flourish as he clinched the AMA 750 SuperStock Championship in 2003, followed by back-to-back victories in the AMA Formula Xtreme Championships in 2006 and 2007. Hayes solidified his status as one of the top competitors in the sport by winning four AMA Superbike Championships in consecutive years: 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014. His impressive career has made him a prominent figure in motorcycle racing, known for his skill, determination, and numerous accolades in the competitive arena.
