Patrick Roach, born on March 4, 1969, is a notable Canadian actor celebrated for his role as Randy, the quirky and often shirtless assistant to the trailer park supervisor on the cult classic series *Trailer Park Boys*. Hailing from Branch, Newfoundland, Roach spent his formative years in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

In *Trailer Park Boys*, Randy serves as the deputy to Mr. Lahey, creating a dynamic relationship that blends humor with chaos, reminiscent of the rapport between Mr. Burns and Smithers from *The Simpsons*. Roach has indicated that Randy identifies as gay, although the series presents him as bisexual, showcasing a unique blend of character complexity and comedic nuance.

Roach balanced his early acting career with a full-time position as a regional sales manager at Sparkling Springs, a bottled water company, until he decided to pursue acting full-time in July 2004.
