Cindy Drummond’s journey to becoming an entertainer was anything but conventional. For the first 35 years of her life, she carefully sidestepped the entertainment industry while juggling various jobs, including waiting tables, bartending, managing restaurants, and working in retail. After battling plantar fasciitis and grappling with a strong desire to explore, she made the pivotal decision to relocate to Los Angeles, armed with her custom orthotics and a renewed sense of purpose. There, she quickly returned to waiting tables, but the environment was different—her colleagues were aspiring actors, writers, and comedians, allowing her to finally connect with her creative tribe.

Cindy embarked on her comedic career, performing at renowned venues such as The Improv, The Comedy Store, and The Laugh Factory, as well as alternative spots like the now-closed Luna Park. Her unique storytelling style and improvisational skills earned her a memorable stint at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where being fired became a badge of honor among alternative comics.

Her stand-up success opened doors to acting, where she became known for her role as the GEICO "Spy Mom," collaborating closely with director Wayne McClammy and the creative team at The Martin Agency. The character gained immense popularity, even being voted one of the top 5 GEICO commercials of all time. Cindy has also featured in CBS's "The Unicorn" and played Lottie Beth Hobbs alongside Cate Blanchett in the acclaimed limited series "Mrs. America." Beyond her entertainment career, she dedicates her time to LA Animal Rescue as a board member and volunteer, finding joy and grounding in her work with animals.
