Sheila Korsi
Sheila Korsi is a talented actress, singer, and producer celebrated for her diverse contributions to the entertainment industry. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Luna in the film "Emily the Criminal." In addition, she showcased her comedic talents as Louise, the Hot Dog Vendor, in Season One of NBC's "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (2012). Korsi also starred in Joey Medina's film "El Matador" (2003) and made a memorable appearance on "America's Got Talent" (2008), where she introduced audiences to her unique character, Sheila-Sheila of The Jungle, a salsa singer she created herself.
Sheila hails from a distinguished family; her father, Demetrio Korsi, was an acclaimed Panamanian poet, journalist, and diplomat, best known for his renowned poem "Incidente de Cumbia" and authoring over 20 books. Her mother, EloÃsa Sandoval de Korsi, was also an award-winning writer and historian, contributing significantly to their family's literary legacy. Tragically, both of Sheila's parents, as well as her siblings—Jacqueline, Dolly Elena, and Demetrio III—have passed away.
