Betty Loh Ti (Chinese: 樂蒂, 24 July 1937 – 27 December 1968), also known as Le Di or Loh Tih, was a prominent actress in Hong Kong cinema, originally hailing from Shanghai. Celebrated for her timeless beauty and talent, she earned the moniker "Classic Beauty" and became one of the most revered figures in the film industry during her time.
Loh Ti gained widespread recognition for her captivating performance in the 1960 film *The Enchanting Shadow*, which led to her being honored as "China's most beautiful actress" by the jury at the 1960 Cannes Film Festival. This accolade solidified her status as a leading figure in the industry. She further showcased her exceptional acting skills in *The Love Eterne*, a role that won her the prestigious Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress in 1963, marking a pinnacle in her career.
Tragically, Loh Ti's life was cut short when she passed away from a barbiturate overdose at the young age of 31.
