Elena Valyushkina
Elena Viktorovna Valyushkina, born on December 8, 1962, in Potsdam, East Germany, is a distinguished Soviet and Russian actress known for her contributions to both film and theater. She was honored with the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation in 1995, recognizing her significant impact on the arts.
Valyushkina's artistic journey began in her youth, where she cultivated her talents in music, dance, and the visual arts. She honed her craft at the Higher Theater School named after M. Shepkina, graduating in 1984 under the guidance of renowned instructors V.I. Korshunov and V.S. Sulimov.
Her acting career took flight while she was still a drama student; she made her film debut in 1982 with the comedy “I Don't Want to Be an Adult.” Following her graduation, she quickly landed a prominent role as Maria in Mark Zakharov's acclaimed musical comedy “Formula of Love.” In this film, she portrayed a charming and adventurous character who embarks on a journey with Count Cagliostro.
Since 1984, Valyushkina has been a dedicated member of the Mossovet Theater, where she has continued to showcase her versatile talents. Throughout her career, she has captivated audiences with her performances, solidifying her status as a respected figure in the Russian performing arts.
