2 titles Acting

Larry Dwyer, a native of Bridgeport, Connecticut, was born during the era of gas shortages and Richard Nixon's presidency. From an early age, he developed a profound appreciation for music and cinema, thanks in part to his mother's influence as a classically trained pianist. While he cherished various genres, it was rock music that captured his heart the most. This passion propelled him to learn guitar and eventually co-found the Grammy-nominated hardcore/metal band Hatebreed.

Larry's fascination with film was equally rooted in his childhood experiences. Weekend trips to drive-in theaters with his parents introduced him to iconic horror films like 'Dawn of the Dead,' 'Blood Beach,' and 'Mother's Day.' This early exposure led him to carve a niche for himself as a film reviewer and interviewer for Horror News Network, as well as at the annual Connecticut HorrorFest convention. He has also made appearances in films alongside notable actors such as Kevin Sorbo, Adrienne King, and Caroline Williams.

Outside of his film and music endeavors, Larry takes on various roles, including hosting genre film double features at local theaters, contributing to the Horror News Network website, and managing the CT HorrorFest convention. He balances these pursuits with a full-time job as a Project Manager, coaching Little League baseball, performing with bands, and cherishing time with his wife and children.
